The Festival International de Jazz de Montreal runs June 25 to July 4, putting the city into show mode again. That does not mean every band needs a festival slot. It does mean the calendar is giving musicians a clean deadline.
Use the week to tighten the practical parts: a monthly room if the setup needs to stay ready, an hourly Du Parc block if the set needs one focused pass, or a recording inquiry if the new songs should become a demo while the band is sharp.
Before choosing, compare the gallery, room fit, access, and current availability. A short visit can answer what photos cannot: where the drums sit, how the amps fit, and whether the room matches the way the band actually works.
