Montreal's summer calendar keeps handing bands useful deadlines: OSHEAGA runs July 31 to August 2, MUTEK follows August 25 to 30, and POP Montreal lands September 23 to 27. Most bands are working on their own timeline. Those dates still give the next room decision a useful deadline.
If the band needs a setup that stays assembled, ask about monthly room availability. If the set only needs one focused push, book an hourly Du Parc block. If the new songs are ready to become a demo, ask how the recording room can support a live-off-the-floor day or a tighter tracking plan.
Before choosing, use the gallery as a first pass, then book a visit. Photos can show the gear and room mood; a few minutes inside the space answers the real questions: where the drums sit, how the amps fit, what the load-in feels like, and whether the room matches the way the band actually works.
